Common questions
Something on a launch page is wrong
Use “Report it” or “Suggest an update” on the launch page itself — reports go straight to the review queue and are personally checked before anything changes.
I want to delete my account and data
You can delete your account in the app (avatar → Account → Delete account), or request deletion without the app at wave-pro.co.uk/account-deletion.
Safety on the water
Wave Pro conditions describe the weather, never safety clearance — always assess local conditions yourself. In an emergency call 999 and ask for the Coastguard; VHF Channel 16.
Data sources & attribution
Wave Pro shows evidence from named sources and says so. Every forecast and map in the app comes from one of these:
Weather and marine forecasts
Weather data by Open-Meteo.com, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Wave Pro processes this data — it derives Beaufort wind grades, day summaries and pressure trends from the hourly values, and withholds sea-state where the open-sea model isn’t reliable.
